HTC have released their first quarter earnings statement. Bad news probably doesn’t adequately describe the results.

Things are not looking great for the Company with a recorded loss of 30% in profits. Net total was listed at NT$4.89 billion ($US148 million), which you’d think was pretty good however the difference for the same time last year is staggering. At the same time last year, the Company recorded NT$6.94 billion (or $US210 million).

Overall, is was not all doom and gloom. Analysts predicted that Company would have a harder time this year. Predictions were listed at NT$4.64 billion ($US140 million) for Q1, which they beat; just. The reasons behind not doing even better was put down to missing product shipment dates, many of which pushed back into April.

It must be because their phones made like shit and feel cheap. They use Windows as well. I hate HTC…with all the choices today why would anyone go HTC?

    They have to come stronger
