HTC has unveiled the HTC S743 to satisfy the need to message with a full slide-out keyboard. This stylish handset runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and will feature a more traditional 12-key keypad unlike the HTC Touch Pro which only posses the QWERTY keyboard.

The HTC S743 supports the high-speed HSDPA (850/1900 MHz) network for blacking fast Internet access.  This handset was designed with the same facets of the HTC Touch Diamond with a focus on delivering an outstanding voice experience to users. Even with a slim profile the S743 has a large 2.4-inch QVGA screen that allows for better viewing of email, text messages and web pages.

“While others are content focusing on a single design or user interface, HTC is dedicated to bringing the benefits of mobile convergence to all consumers, without forcing them to use a device that doesn’t truly fit their lifestyle,” said Jason Mackenzie, vice president of HTC America.

The slide-out QWERTY keyboard gives the much-needed support for Microsoft Exchange, POP3 and IMAP2 email protocols. This beautiful phone also supports popular instant messaging clients allowing users to stay connected to family and friends instantly when on the go.  US customers will be able to pick up the HTC S743 from many wireless outlets or online at dell.com and cdw.com.
