We are all waiting anxiously for HTC’s recently announced Touch Diamond. We did see it get unboxed a few days ago, but if that was not enough, then a full review has popped its head up on the internet. The review puts the device in a very positive light. Just like any device though, there are a few gripes, but according to the review they are minor.

The device is prominently covered in high gloss plastic casing. It is described as a “fingerprint magnet”, which would be expected of such casing. Hopefully that self cleaning case for it we saw comes into play. According to the review HTC has to make some sacrifices in the name of fashion. The review says the back of the device is indeed faceted, it is not a visual effect of some kind.

The front of the device is the same high gloss plastic at the bottom. Starting from the end of the navigation pad on up, it is covered in glass. The sides of the device are metal, painted black. The review describes the screen as responsive.

The display is a very strong point for this device. It has a VGA resolution screen at 2.8 inches. According to the review the display looks better than similar displays on other models, such as GSmart models and even a Glofish device.
