In an interesting bit of news, it seems that the official ROM from the recently announced HTC Touch Diamond has made its way onto the internet. This is very odd, considering the device just barely started shipping, and you really got to wonder how many people actually have their hands on it. This is especially true when you consider it is mainly shipping in Europe and Asia, with our version coming later in the year sometime.

Never the less though, it has been posted over at xda-developers. Whats more, the industrious minds over there have also ported the Diamond’s ROM onto the Kaiser, or the TyTN II to others. This means that the Tilt on AT&T should take to the ROM. It sounds like a great opportunity to run TouchFLO 3D a little early, or if you don’t like the $800 price point on the Diamond.

You can grab the ROM now here, and it does work confirmed on the Kaiser. According to the thread, it can be ported over to even more HTC devices, if you are willing to work on it for a few minutes. The ROM is said to be pretty stable, but as always you should be careful when messing around with these things.
