In case you’re not keen on those pesky wireless contracts, it looks like you now have an option to get the HTC Touch Diamond without the commitment. However, you have to be in Canada to take advantage, it seems.
 

 
Available from Rogers Wireless only, the HTC Touch Diamond is currently being offered from the carrier without a contract. However, it will definitely cost you. How much? I’m talking a $599.99 price tag.

That’s pretty steep, if you ask me. But I guess if you compare that price to what Rogers is currently selling the HTC Touch for, at $449.99, then it doesn’t seem like something out of left field. But still, $600 for a phone seems like a little too much.
