Since its initial leak last week, the HTC Touch HD has been announced by means of an official product page.  And even though there isn’t a press release floating around, we have learned several specs that confirm this handset is prepped and primed to be a serious competitor.

With HSDPA (with European and Asian 900/2100MHz bands), Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, GPS and A-GPS, the HTC Touch HD is the ultimate in connectivity. It also features a 3.8-inch WVGA 800 x 480 touchscreen, which is the real attention getter.

Other features include a 5-megapixel camera for stills and a front VGA camera for video calls, a 1350 mAh battery, a microSD slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack and more. Plus 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM are sure to keep you smooth sailing. No one knows pricing or availability just yet but we do know the HTC Touch HD is sure to be a crowd pleaser.
