Sprint has announced that Samsung Instinct customers can now access their work calendar through the launch of corporate calendar access. This feature provides easy synchronization with Microsoft Exchange Server and IBM Lotus Notes account calendars.

You can now view and update your work calendar, create and delete appointments and more, right on your phone. The calendar feature is a direct extension of the Mobile Email Work’s existing access to business email accounts. As with most calendar applications, you will be able to view appointments by day or month along with appointment view that displays the details about each appointment. They have also included appointment reminders so you wont have to miss another appointment.

“With the speed and usability of the Now Network and affordable non-PDA devices, Sprint is giving customers on-the-go business functionality on popular consumer-friendly phones,” said Len Barlik, vice president of wireless and wireline services for Sprint. Any changes done to the calendar such as adding deleting or changing an appointment are automatically synced with the server. Instinct owners with Mobile Email Work will receive this feature through an update. New customers will be able to activate the service directly through the email menu without downloading extra software. Mobile Email Work with the new corporate calendar feature is included at no additional charge for Instinct customers.
