We all know that surfing the Internet on an unprotected PC is a quick way to have a machine that is so packed with spyware and viruses that it becomes unusable. Parents also know that the Internet is packed with content that kids don’t need to see.

A new Internet protection suite for the iPhone has been announced called iNet SafetyBubble that protects the user surfing the net on the iPhone and iPod touch. The app allows parents and other users to block specific types of content from being viewed on the iPhone.

Sites can be blocked by category, individual site and activity on the phone can be monitored. Companies issuing the iPhone to workers may find the software helps prevent employee access from restricted sites as well. The app boasts over 100 million categorized websites and real-time classification of new sites to prevent unauthorized access. The app is available now for $19.99.
