Ask anyone what’s missing from the iPhone and one of the most likely answers is copy and paste. I know it’s on the top of my list of most wanted feature, next to 3G-connectivity.

iPhone firmware 1.1.3 may include Copy & Paste functionality?

According to MacScoop, the recent iPhone 1.1.3 firmware leak may be incomplete and unpolished version of the forthcoming iPhone update. It is possible that apple intends to include copy and paste functionality into the final version. How Copy and Paste would be implemented on the iPhone is still unknown and as far as when firmware 1.1.3 will drop – well only Jobs and Co. really knows.
