Apple only unveiled the new iPhone 3.0 OS last week and already it has been downloaded millions of times. Each time an update comes out for the iPhone and users with hacked or jailbroken iPhones want to update, they have to wait for a new hack to come out.

The Dev-Team Blog has announced that Ultrasn0w is now available for the iPhone 3G running iPhone OS 3.0. To unlock the device you have to jailbreak the iPhone 3G with redsn0w or PwnageTool and then run Cydia or Icy.

A few more steps are required to complete the process and the blog notes that T-Mobile customers need to disable 3G before using ultrasn0w. Once the steps are followed and the software is applied, the iPhone will be unlocked. Check out the full instructions at the link below.
