Some iPhone users are complaining that their handsets have developed tiny “bubbles” in the glass touchscreens of their Apple devices.  As yet the problem has not been officially recognised by Apple themselves, although users experiencing the fault have had their iPhones replaced on the spot when seeking assistance from the Genius Bar support service.

The issue has ranged from a single bubble to as many as five, with one user on the Apple discussion boards reporting concurrent faults with touchscreen responsiveness on the lower half of the display:

“The iPhone went nuts today. Screen would just open apps. Not unlock. Then not lock. Icons go into jiggle mode. Stop. Open random apps. Not work at all. It was crazy” musicmaker
