KEYnetik concept with one-handed motion sensor control

Motion-based controls are creeping into more and more mobile devices, from the basic screen-rotation in the iPhone to Sony Ericsson’s track-skip flicking in some of its higher-end Walkman cellphones.  KEYnetik, however, is a prototype design that goes one step further than that: intended for one-handed use, it has a thumb-joystick and four buttons along the edge, as well as dual motion sensors that can respond to twisting, flicks and more.

KEYnetik envisage the prototype UI being used for general phone functionality, music control and even gaming, though I’m not sure how playable Solitaire would be using flicks to control it.  I’d be afraid I’d knock all the cards over.
