Looking at these renders of what may become new Motorola phones we cant help but notice that they do not look like previous models. Could one of these be the new Android-powered handset that Motorola has been reportedly working on? Only time will tell.

2009 is shaping up to be quite a year for Motorola with all of the new phones we have seen the last few weeks. For now details are slim, we only know (or think we know) what the pictures show us. For one Verizon will be the lucky carrier to bring this handset down. Also this handset is rumored to be hitting sometime in 2009. It looks like Motorola is really trying to break free with new and exciting handset designs with curved edges and great color schemes.

Motorola just can’t seem to drop the keypad style featured on the Razr. One of the most exciting of the four handsets, the “Calgary,” appears to be a spinoff of the new AT&T Quickfire. The Verizon phone is codenamed the “Rush 2,” and will apparently take up the low-end range of handsets that are geared towards texting freaks. The two other codenames we got are the “Flash” and the “Blaze.” Lets hope for Motorola’s sake that these phones don’t change much before they are released.
