Leap Wireless owns and operates the nationwide Cricket pre-paid service. The company has announced that it will be offering new Cricket monthly unlimited prepaid broadband and voice plans. The new plans will be offered in over 1000 retail locations around the country.

The new plans will be priced at $40, $45, and $50 per month and will complement the existing PAYGo plans. The $40 plan will provide unlimited talking, long distance, and access to the extended calling area. The $45 service has all the same features as the cheaper plan with unlimited web and directory assistance.

The $50 plan is an unlimited mobile broadband plan that gives access to the 3G EVDO network Cricket operates. A $69.99 USB modem is needed to access the Cricket 3G network and the modem requires no activation fee. All of the offerings will be in place for the holiday season.
