I am not fast when it comes to texting. For that reason, my texts tend to be short, full of abbreviations and anything else that can make things faster. I typically respond with single letters, K. My friend’s wife on the other hand sends full paragraphs with punctuation and all.

LG has announced the winner of its annual texting championship. The winner of the championship was 15-year-old Katie Moore from Des Moines, Iowa. The teen says that she averages 500 text messages each day. After winning $50k it will be hard for mom and dad to tell her to stop texting.
She took home the $50,000 price for being the fastest texter in the land and beat out 250,000 other hopefuls to win the title. The phrase she had to text to win the contest was “Zippity Dooo Dahh Zippity Ayy … My oh MY, what a wonderful day! Plenty of sunshine Comin’ my way…ZippittyDooDahZippityAay! WondeRful feeling, Wonderful day!”
Moore completed the long line of text in under 60 seconds without a single mistake. Heck, I had to cut and paste the text for this story and it took longer than 60 seconds.
