The long awaited all touch PRADA variant for Verizon, the LG Dare, has been outed to be released on June 26th. This is earlier than the “next month” figure that we had before, and the sooner the better. The device is basically Verizon’s unofficial answer to the iPhone. Releasing it much earlier than the iPhone 3G could be part of the strategy.

A few spy shots were leaked of the wonder device as well. The device will have some serious features. It packs a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus, one of the best sold here to date, a proximity sensor to shut off the touch screen when your face nears it, EV-DO Rev. A, VGA video capture, and a full HTML browser.

I think i’ll be buying this phone using my NE2 and the $50 rebate. Hopefully that brings it under $200.

I get my upgrade on 9/16/08 so once that dates comes around it should be cheap enough for me to buy it. but since im not the primary on my line (family plan) i have to have the 2 yr. contract price which is retarded. i want the 100 dollars off that price but i can’t :(
