Details have surfaced on the official LG German blog about the Viewty models. The information, now pulled from the site, appeared to be valid.

Reports suggest that through the blog, reference to the model named as the Viewty Smart is less than a half-inch thick and weighs only 3.2 ounces. Although small, had a lot of technological goodies patched inside. The Viewty Smart, known also as the Viewty II was listed to feature an 8 megapixel camera and a 3-inch touchscreen display powered by LG’s 3D S-Class user interface.

With this, the device would apparently shoot video at 720×480 resolution and can Geotag photos with an onboard GPS. Internet options included WiFI and HSDPA data connectivity. At the time of the blog being posted, information regarding pricing and availability were not detailed. Formal information about the device will be posted as soon as it is available.
