I was never that big on reading comic strips, but my dad liked Dick Tracy when I was a kid. The only thing cool I can recall about the comic strip was that he had a watchthe could talk into. Not as cool as that shoe Maxwell Smart had, but pretty cool nonetheless.

LG was showing off its slick GD910 watch phone at CES in January, but fans looking to get their hands on the thing in the U.S. were out of luck since it appeared to be a European only device. The watch phone is an interesting looking device that packs the features of a smartphone into a watch.

The biggest drawback to the device if it comes to the U.S. as new rumors suggest is the price. The GD910 is said to retail for $1,500. The watch phone has hit the FCC site for approval on GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies.
