No sooner had the LG Lotus done its turn on the CTIA Wireless 2008 show floor, but it was dragged off to New York Fashion Week for a stroll down the catwalk.  The clamshell handset was partnered with an exclusive scarf designed by Christian Siriano, winner of the fourth season of fashion reality show Project Runway, complete with a pocket to hold the squared-off cellphone.

Of course, being in San Francisco for CTIA Wireless, we couldn’t get over to NYC in time to take what LG assure us would have been front-row seats for the catwalk appearance itself.  They did snap a few photos for us, however, which you can see here.

The LG Lotus will be available on Sprint in October, priced at $149.99 with a two-year contract.  It has a 2-megapixel camera, A2DP Bluetooth and Sprint’s new One Click interface, which promises to streamline commonly used functions in a customizable GUI.  Check out our hands-on feature here.
