Speculation that LG have prepared two versions of the long-awaited Vu cellphone - one with mobile TV functionality, one without - for AT&T has been borne out, as PhoneArena’s recently received press shots of the two handsets confirms.  However the rumor that the more basic model will lack 3G is unfounded; both the CU915 and the CU920 have 3G, a 3-inch WQVGA 262k colour touchscreen and a 2-megapixel autofocus camera.  The differentiating factor is the extending mobile TV antenna, which only the CU920 has (along with a TV menu option).

Both versions of the Vu also have a full HTML browser, 120MB of internal memory (augmented via microSD card, of which up to 4GB cards are supported, although sadly not hot-swappable) and USB mass storage support.  A 1,000mAh battery is rated for 3hs of talktime; no performance figures for mobile TV use have been given.  It weighs 3.16oz and measures 4.25 x 2.16 x 0.51-inches.

AT&T have recently confirmed they will be launching their mobile TV service in May; the Vu is expected to be the flagship device, and will likely launch at the same time.
