PhoneScoop have received some preview information about a new LG clamshell headed for Verizon Wireless at some point in the next coming months. The VX9100, which they predict will replace the VX9900 enV, is more streamlined than its predecessor and yet still has the full QWERTY keyboard and internal QVGA display.

On the outside there’s a basic numeric keypad for making voice calls as well as a small display. The VX9100 has a 2-megapixel camera, microSD card slot and microUSB port, but unfortunately the browser is a simple WAP one rather than full-HTML.

There’s no indication of when exactly the handset will launch, nor retail price.
