There are lots of service industries where people work out in the field all day and never see an office. The problem for these people is if they need to take payments taking credit cards can be difficult or impossible to do in the field.

MerchantWarehouse has announced that its MerchantWARE Mobile application is now available for the Blackberry Pearl, Storm, Curve and Bold smartphones. The phones can now use the secure Bluetooth card swipe device for taking payments on the go.

The application is available for free and will be on the Blackberry App world soon. Transactions are secured in real-time for sales, refunds, and voids. There are also no additional gateway or service fees associated with the use of the system.
