Nokia on the other hand is one of the largest mobile phone makers on the planet and offers a full range of devices from smartphones to basic handsets. The two companies have announced that they will be having a teleconference today to announce an alliance.
The two companies are mum on exactly what the alliance is for at this point. Speculation points to one of two things. First, the conference could be an announcement that Nokia will be offering Windows Mobile devices alongside its Symbian handsets. The more likely announcement though is that Nokia is finally getting into the netbook business as it said it would several months back. We should know what it is all about later today.
