Discussing a number of topics, RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis talked to Laptopmag.com about his Company. On the topic list was the BlackBerry Storm.

RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis defended his company against accusations that the BlackBerry Storm was rushed to store shelves with bugs and unfinished. The model has been getting it’s fair share of poor critical reception. He said that there is “a lot of testing every time before releasing these devices. And I think that it’s unfair. That’s our first touch product, and you know nobody gets it perfect out the door.” RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie claimed problematic software was part of a “new reality” of making complicated smartphones.
Lazaridis defended the company for for any complaint they did receive, they responded accordingly. As for the future and upcoming projects, Lazaridis did not comment, this including the Storm 2. What is in the future for RIM, it will be the ongoing development of the BlackBerry browser to offer a complete Web experience. Further work is going into implementing carrier billing for BlackBerry App World and not just PayPal.
