Mobiado 350PRL proves beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Worth Reading?

YesNo

I have seen some strange mobile phones over the years. I always considered the ugly Vertu phones among the strange personally, but some people with more money than taste liked the device. Today we gander at the Mobiado 350PRL mobile phone, which is an off-the-shelf Nokia festooned with custom bodywork.

I honestly can’t decide if it’s good looking or ugly. Looking at it from the front or side reveals a boxy and plain handset that looks like one of those calculator thingy’s that they use for doing inventory at stores. Flip the little beast over though and the rear panel is actually very good looking.

As for the specs, the handset is a quad band GSM phone with 3.5G, HSDPA, and Wi-Fi connectivity. It has a full QWERTY keyboard, though it has an odd wave pattern to it. The camera integrated into the device sports 3.2-megapixels and GPS is built-in. The LCD measures 2.36-inches and internal memory is a paltry 110MB, but that can be expanded via microSD cards. Pricing is unknown, but certainly falls into the If you have to ask category.
