Mobispine has set out to deliver the much-needed MMS feature to all iPhone users. They intend to bring it to users via a carrier branded application through the App Store. Mobispine is going to need a lot more than luck to get an application like that by Apple, as many have tried unsuccessfully in the past.

Mobispine believes that this feature will increase revenue for each user and drive profits for mobile operators. As if iPhone subscriber retention was low at all they believe that the retention would only be boosted by this ability. We have all been dying to have MMS on the iPhone since day one. We are baffled to imagine why Apple did not include such a basic feature in the iPhone to begin with.

“Mobispine continues its strong track record of innovation and is proud to unveil the first true MMS service for iPhones. We are confident that global operators will find Mobispine’s MMS service for iPhone easy-to-use and profitable,” said Dusyant Patel, CEO, Mobispine. “This new offering will help operators generate revenue and differentiate their offerings in a highly competitive market.”

This application fully integrates itself with the iPhone allowing users to browse through contacts and either choose a photo from the album or snap one right then and there. If Mobispine manages to get this service by Apple, the iPhone “haters” will have one less thing to say about the iPhone.
