Most of us know monster as the company who sells those very expensive cables for home theater and audio systems. The company also sells a line of accessories for MP3 players like the iPod and iPhone. Today monster announced a few new products specifically for the iPhone.

The first product is the iCarPlay Wireless 1000 FM transmitter. The device can be used in the car or in the home and allows wireless streaming of music from the iPhone to the car stereo. The device automatically scans the entire FM spectrum three times to find the clearest frequency available.

One of the stranger accessories is the new iCarPlay Cassette 800 selling for $19.95. I haven’t seen a cassette player in a car in years, so you will need an older ride to get any benefit out of this gadget. It lets you play music from the iPhone through your cassette player. I guess the selling point is that it’s cheaper than the $80 and up the FM transmitters go for.
