A spreadsheet listing the inner makings of the upcoming HTC range have been spotted. New to the list is the Star, Superstar, Tachi, Chief W and Captain.

Although the actual authenticity of the spreadsheet is unconfirmed, there are convincing code names aplenty for the HTC range. What is also unclear, is whether the different names are just older codes used prior to the release of existing devices. For example, specifications are similar to those we are familiar, like the Captain vs. the Cedar and Willow. Alternatively, the Chief W as a world phone with dual CDMA and GSM may in fact be an older name used for these models.

Is the Star actually the Firestone? Tachi, the Twin? The mystery continues. More so with the Superstar. This model does not compare with existing model specifications and chip set listed. The larger screen may suggest a model made more for the media centric market. Running Windows Mobile 6.5 and supercharged chip set, one would think this model would not be around until later in the year. Will keep you posted!
