I’m not entirely sure how a prototype of Motorola’s A1600 MOTOMING 2 cellphone could turn up at a Shenzen market in China, but then I’m an naive type of guy.  What I do know is that it looks to be a Linux-powered touchscreen smartphone with a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi and GPS, and certainly isn’t one of the handsets featured in the curious Motorola video that showed up, and which people assumed included the MOTOMING 2.

According to Chinese site eNet last year, the MOTOMING 2 was due to launch last month.
