Could two Motorola smartphones arrive in the near future? Quite possibly. At least that’s the scoop according to an article in Digitimes. In fact, Compal, a Taiwanese hardware manufacturer just got an order from Motorola for two new smartphones that run on Windows Mobile.

And these devices codenames? Why, the Alexander and the Attila, of course. Details for both devices have been sparse, but we are learning more and more in bits and pieces. The Attila was revealed in spyshots, but the Alexander’s info has been sketchy.
Apparently, these two new phones are scheduled for a release in the first quarter of 2009. The original release date was sometime at the end of this year. So, what does this all mean? Well, it means that two new WinMo handsets are on the way, for good or for bad.
