Truth be told, leaked prices are maybe the best way to judge how well a device is going to do in the future. There’s other factors, too. Like how the device looks, works, and what carrier it’s launching on. But, for the most part, pricing is the big deal. This time around, thanks to some tipsters sending in a leaked internal T-Mobile pricing sheet, we get a glimpse as to what the Motorola Charm (which was probably called the Basil at some point) and Samsung Supersonic are going to cost.
First up, the Motorola Charm looks like it’s not going to be breaking any bank accounts any time soon. If you’re looking to buy the device out-right, you’ll only have to save up $269.99 to get your hands on it. But, if you’re a fan of two-year contracts, then you’ll be dropping $74.99 to get your hands on this little Android 2.1, MOTOBLUR-infused portrait QWERTY keyboard device.
Things get a bit more tricky when it comes to the Samsung Supersonic, because we have no idea what this device is. It hasn’t popped up in the past, but if we look at the price, and compare it to another Samsung device we know exists, then we may be getting a clearer picture. The Supersonic is probably a codename for the Samsung Vibrant, which is the 4-inch Super AMOLED display, TouchWiz 3.0 with Android 2.1 device that’s coming to T-Mobile on July 21st. We’re just confused as to why T-Mobile would use a codename so close to launch. Either way, it looks like out-right price is tagged at $499.99, while a new two-year contract will see you spending $199.99 of your hard-earned cash on the device.
