Bluetooth headsets are not all created equal. Most of them promise to reduce background noise and filter echoes, but many of them prove unable to do so. Motorola has announced a new Bluetooth headset called the Endeavor HX1 that uses bone conduction technology and promises clear calls in the most extreme conditions.

The HX1 features Motorola CrystalTalk noise cancellation technology with a stealth mode that activates bone conduction technology for clear calls. Stealth mode has true bone conduction technology and gets the user’s voice from the vibrations in the bone rather than the mic.
Tech inside the HX1 picks up the vibrations and turns them into sound the person on the other end can hear. Using the technology Motorola says that it is able to eliminate external sounds and provide clear calls. Pricing for the HX1 is unannounced, but it will be available on all regions starting in Asia in July.
