Clear as crystal images have surfaced for Motorola’s first iDEN phone with a full QWERTY keyboard. The i465 will be heading down the low-tech route by offering the full keyboard on a dumbphone.

As of this morning, Motorola’s website stated that a “search for – i465 – had no results.” Rumour has it that the launch of the new phone is to be during Sprint Nextel in the US. The feature list for the phone is said to have Bluetooth 2.0, VGA camera and Web browser as well as Push to Talk capabilities.
Housed in a rather attractive body, the i465 would almost be the perfect phone for those looking for ‘just’ a phone. That being said, the phone seems geared towards a younger, SMS crazy market by not offering all the bells and whistles of other phones out there. Hoping a release date comes soon; a gift for the Grandparents might be sorted!
