We first heard about the Motorola V750 for Verizon back in February, when aside from the handset’s name little was known about it.  Now photos of the V750, which has turned out to be a clamshell, have surfaced, showing that it has a similar keypad to the VU30 – also for Verizon – and, apparently, similar specifications.  However the harder-edged shape is fresher than the PEBL-like VU30, looking a little like some of Samsung’s more recent super-slim clamshells.

The V750 seemingly supports EV-DO (going by the ‘EV’ signal strength bar visible in one of the screenshot photos in the gallery below) but otherwise the specifications of the handset are unknown.  phoneArena are calling the new design “aggressive”, but personally I think it comes across as on the bland side of functional.  The keys, particularly, look worrying like the plastic bubble buttons you find on cheap credit-card sized remote controls.

According to the earlier rumors, the V750 should be launching sometime in the Spring.  No price has been suggested.
