One of the fastest growing uses for mobile phones today is GPs navigation. Many users are finding that the mobile phones they already own will do as good a job for GPS navigation as a dedicated GPS device — assuming that the software is decent.

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G will be getting its own GPs navigation application from TeleNav that is available to download today and includes a free 30-day trial before you buy. The software allows for traffic and accident updates and more.
Other features include automatic rerouting, points-of-interest, gas prices, and speech recognition for programming. That last bit is important as it will let you put in where you want to go without having to remove your hands from the wheel. The App will be on the Android market with a subscription price of $9.99 per month.
