After their official blog let slip last Thursday, Nokia have officially announced the launch of the N-Gage mobile gaming service, making over thirty games available to owners of Nokia N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95 and N95 8GB handsets.  In addition, the N-Gage Arena community will allow gamers to meet friends, find others to play multiplayer games, discuss topics on the message boards and via live chat, and participate in tournaments and hosted events.

The full list of publishers and gaming titles is as follows:

• Digital Chocolate: DChoc Café Solitaire 12-Pack, DChoc Café Sudoku, and DChoc Café Hold’ Em Poker.

• EA Mobile: The Sims 2 Pets, Tetris, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, and EA SPORTS FIFA 08.

• Gameloft: Asphalt 3: Street Rules, Block Breaker Deluxe, Brothers In Arms, Brain Challenge, Midnight Pool, and Dogz.

• Glu Mobile: The Dark Knight, Super Slam Ping Pong, and World Series of Poker Pro Challenge.

• I-play: Super Mah Jong and World Rally Championship.

• Nokia Publishing: Bounce Boing Voyage, Creebies, Dirk Dagger and the Fallen Idol, Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep, Mile High Pinball, Pro Series Golf, ONE, Snakes Subsonic, Space Impact: Kappa Base, System Rush: Evolution, and Yamake.

• THQ Wireless: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Worms World Party.

• Vivendi Games Mobile: Crash Bandicoot

Nokia are promising regular updates including new titles, features, and expanding the list of compatible devices.  Games are expected to cost between six and ten euros ($9.42 to $15.70), with a free trial available for each. You can download the N-Gage app either on your PC or directly to your handset by visiting http://www.n-gage.com/
