After speculation that Nokia would launch a WiMAX-upgraded version of its N810 Internet Tablet at CTIA Wireless this coming week, it seems that the Finnish company themselves have leaked confirmation that a high-speed wireless data version of the compact tablet is on its way.  Quickly taken down, the new device was shown as part of the N8xx range at the Nokia Tableteer, complete with a not-yet-active link (http://nokiausa.com/n810wimax), and was spotted by Krisse from Internet Tablet School.

Assuming the link turns out to be correct, it would suggest that the N810 WiMAX Edition is coming to the US, suggesting it uses the Sprint and/or Clearwire WiMAX networks.  The new N810 would certainly be a good poster-child for WiMAX in the US, which currently has been demonstrated with less than photogenic mobile modems.
