HTC is gearing up to drop some bombs on May 6th. There is no question about that. What is relatively not known though, is what exactly HTC has up there sleeve for this event. While only HTC knows the entire line up, there have been a few gems leaked here and there. One thing of interest, is that HTC will be announcing a new phone in the Touch family, according to several sources.

We are not the only ones excited about this device. HTC has said it is confident this new device will boost sales. Most of HTC’s sales come from high end 3G devices, according to the article, and this new device is expected to help the cause. That would be up 27% of the same time last year. A generous estimate, so this thing must be good.

The device pictured is the new HTC Raphael. It has been outed for Sprint, and it only makes sense there is a GSM version cooking. This device very well could be what is going to be released to the masses at the event. It will run Windows Mobile 6.1, and feature the all too uncommon VGA resolution screen.
