T-Mobile have announced their latest cellphone, the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic, which will be available on the network from today. A compact slider, the 5610 has a media player with dedicated music slider key, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, an FM radio and is compatible with AAC, eAAC+, MP3 and WMA formats. A 1GB microSD card is included, the the 5610 supporting up to 4GB; music can be transferred via the USB cable.

Other features include a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, video capture and playback, voice dialling, voice commands and voice recorder. The screen is 2.2 inches (QVGA 240 x 320), in fact the only really frustrating omission is 3G: the 5610 is quadband GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) but maxes out at an EDGE data connection. Nokia first announced the handset back in May.

Available in two color options – black with red accents and white with silver side accents – the 5610 measures 3.88 x 1.91 x 0.67-inches and weighs 3.92oz. It’ll be priced at $99 with a two-year agreement and come with a wired stereo headset.
