Nokia has unveiled the latest in its avant-garde Prism series of cellphones, the 7070 clamshell. While the typical Prism diamond shell may be present, the guts of the 7070 are altogether more mundane; running the Series 40 OS, two versions of the dualband GSM handset are planned (EGSM900/1800 and EGSM850/1900) with GPRS, email and 11MB of internal memory.

Measuring 87.5mm x 44mm x 15.8mm and weighing in at just 78g, the display is a basic 128 x 160 TFT while the 700mAh battery is rated for up to 5hrs talktime or up to 480hrs standby.
The 7070 Prism is expected to ship in Q3 2008 with an estimated retail price of €50 ($79) before taxes and subsidies.
