While we were heaping coverage on Nokia’s four-handset lineup at the Mobile World Congress this month, the sneaky Finns were simultaneously flaunting their E71 QWERTY-equipped smartphone at a showcase event in Sydney, Australia. Featuring in a photo alongside the E61i it will replace, the E71 is apparently significantly smaller than its predecessor – supposedly 57mm long and just 11mm thick – a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, and HSDPA.

According to sources over at The Boy Genius Report, an AT&T version of the E71 will be made available with US-spec 3G/HSDPA, although it’s uncertain whether WiFi will be left intact.
You can see more specs of the E71 here, courtesy of the leaked Vodafone roadmap.
