Nokia Research managed to keep the Nokia Locate Sensor from Mr. Blurry Cam just long enough to debut it at CES this past week. The sensor is there to help you find your lost keys, misplaced bags even phones just as you’re about to dash out the door.

This device is really quite small, about the size of your thumb. Just attach it to whatever you like and it will wirelessly communicate with your mobile phone. The Nokia Locate Sensor can locate a dropped item from up to 100 meters away. The batteries provide the sensor with up to 18 months of battery life before dying so you wont have to worry for quite some time.
There is no release date as of yet, but this concept sure is one device that we sometimes really need to have. Everyone realizes that they have lost their keys as they are running out the door already ten minutes late. The last thing we need is to go on a massive hunt with no time to spare. We want to know what you think about this device, is it particularly useful for you?
