Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition discontinued

Nokia has discontinued its N810 Internet Tablet WiMAX Edition, MobileBurn reports, due to “the slow WiMAX roll out in the USA.” So far, there are two WiMAX markets in USA: Sprint launched XOHM mobile broadband commercial serviceĀ  in Baltimore last September, while Clearwire has just launched its WiMAX service in Portland.

You can take full advantage of the Nokia N810 WiMAX Edition’s large 4.13 inch touch screen and slide-out QWERTY keyboard by enjoying a variety of popular web-based services. A number of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and Instant Messaging (IM) clients are available in this pocket-sized device, including Skype, Google Talk, and Gizmo5.
