The new Nokia N96 looks a lot like the form factor of the N81, which I really like. So this is what Nokia’s next flagship handset looks like? Quite honestly, there is nothing here that looks to be innovative or yells out “wow I have to have it.” Perhaps I should hold my judgments until the product is official announced.

The N96’s specific features and specification is a mystery to us all, but what I can see according to the images, there is a 5-megapixel Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash similar to the Nokia 6500 Slide. The interface clearly shows that it’s running S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, which is still kept under lock and key.

So perhaps the N96 is more or less a new package of the N95 8GB? We’ll jut have to wait and see.
Integrated kickstand for watching videos. I like it, it’s a neat feature.
