Well it has been a long wait for many of us, but the Nokia N97 is now officially available in America. The phone is far from cheap, but if you want the Nokia flagship smartphone you have to pay for it. In case you have been living in a cave with Osama, I’ll run down the specs for you.

The N97 gets a 3.5-inch touch screen with a full QWERTY keyboard. The device is intended to be what Nokia calls a “living” internet device providing the user real time feeds of all their information and social networks on the home screen.

Internal storage for the N97 is 32GB and it can be expanded even more with a microSD card slot for up to 16GB more storage. Other features include a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, A-GPS, Flash support, and a full HTML web browser. The N97 will be offered in black or white colors and will retail for $699.
