Nokia are offering huge discounts on their new flagship smartphone, N97, before it’s even released. You can preoder the phone now with $174.75 discount and by putting the promo code CARTP409N, you can get the N87 for just $454.35!
According to SlashGear, that’s almost $250 off the MRSP of $699 for the unlocked US-spec handset. Estimated shipment is July.
The N97 combines a large 3.5″ touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard and introduces multiple sensors, memory, processing power and connection speeds.

The N97, which also introduces the concept of ’social location’, supports up to 48 GB of storage, including 32 GB of on-board memory, expandable with a 16 GB microSD card.
The Nokia N97 also has a 5-Megapixel camera with high-quality Carl Zeiss optics, 16:9 and DVD quality video capture, and support for services like Share on Ovi over HSDPA and WLAN.

Well, the code works but the discount before the code is no longer applied it seems. You now are offered a free bt headset if you preorder. Guess I won’t be getting this phone just yet.
Yes ,I guess N97’s lowest price is 454++ only. never go down.after this offer period ti will go up only. so Luckies to live in USA can buy the phone now. As I am living out of USA worried. My blog videos will demonstrate the capabilities of nokia N97. Amazing.
I cannot justify paying any price for the Nokia N97 until it has 3G for US. A phone this nice without 3G would be completely useless, would you agree?
What a crock! I tried the code, only took off 10% off the MSRP and you don’t get the free headset.
@Vincent Nguyen :
3G will work on ATT network.

“I received a pre-release Nokia N97 from Nokia SA yesterday to take a look at and test for a couple weeks. The version I received is not the same version that will be shipped but it is probably pretty close. In a sense this is a release candidate so there is still a chance the software may be a little buggy and the phone isn’t really supported by 3rd party providers. I’ve noticed a couple quirks which will probably be resolved by the time the phones ship (I understand that the devices will start shipping internationally in a matter of weeks although Nokia can’t confirm any details at this point).” share your views with me at http://www.NokiaN97Forum.com it’s a site for N97 users. see ya
