Nokia RX-51 N900 rover spied on unofficial video

Nokia is getting ready to officially unveil and announced the RX-51 N900 Rover phone in a few weeks at the Nokia World conference. Ahead of that official announcement, Mobile Review got hands on a pre-release model and recorded the molestation with photos.

The publication didn’t spill all the beans and risk the wrath of Nokia, but you can get a decent idea what the device is all about. The screen is a resistive touch unit and it uses an ARM Cortex 8 CPU, the same processor type in the Palm Pre.

The handset is powered by Maemo and run by Freemantle. We can also tell by the images that the device uses a slider style keyboard in addition to its touch sensitivity. That is really all the specs we have at this point.
