Nokia has been working on its answer to the iPhone for quite some time now. We saw a preview of the S60 Touch interface in August of 2007, and we have been waiting for more details since. Nokia has been very tight lipped about the device, but we may have some more information now. It seems, that the device could sport the name of iPerformer.

Now Nokia makes some great hardware, and this device will surely be no different, but iPerformer? Come on Nokia you can do better. Nokia is just begging for trouble with that name. It was rumored previously this device would be called the Nokia Tube, while still not ideal, it comes in as at least somewhat original.

There is next to nothing known about the device other than the rumored name, and a few rumored specifications. It is supposed to have a wide screen touch display, full QWERTY, GPS, WiFi and FM radio. The image is supposedly the device, but even this images is just a leak from the GoPlay 2007 event held last August.
