Kevin Choi from AVING spent some time at the MWC playing with Novatel’s new MC950D HSDPA/HSUPA USB modem, and you can see the video of it after the cut.  The Ovation MC950D offers triband 850/1900/2100MHz HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS and quadband 850/900/1800/1900MHz GPRS/EDGE, with data speeds of up to 7.2Mbps downlink and 2.1Mbps uplink (network depending, naturally).

The MC950D measures 70 x 25 x 12mm and has an integrated antenna; it keeps all its drivers and software on built-in flash memory, so you can basically plug it into any laptop (PC or Mac) and be up and running.

Novatel also make a MC930D version of the modem, which offers only the 2100MHz band.
