There are no iPhones available through the German arm of O2. Nevertheless, they have been able to gain exclusive rights to the Toshiba TG01.

Outlined in a press statement issued today, the summer release of the smartphone will mean I might be able to fit this phone in my pocket. (I don’t have big pockets you see and the TG01 is only 9.9mm thick.) Managing Director Marketing & Sales for Telefonica O2 Germany said “the Toshiba TG01 was one of the highlights of the Mobile World Congress and is currently one of the most interesting new smartphones. We offer our customers from the summer so that a mobile phone, the multimedia capabilities and office functions perfectly with the performance and efficiency coupled. The simple operation and design make the TG01 a highlight in our offer.”
Depending on availability the mobile standards are set to HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and / or GSM. The version available in white will interface with Bluetooth v2.0, USB v2.0 and WiFi 802.11 b/g. Processing with a Qualcomm QSD8250 (1GHz) while storing through 512 MB ROM / 256MB RAM internally or via the microSDHC slot (up to 32 GB). TG01 will be standing by for you up to 11 and a half days or you could just talk for up to 5 hours. The phone will be available in stores or via the Internet from the German Summer.
Toshiba TG01 specifications include:
